​ Modern dance classes derive from the expression of inner feeling. It is a free dance that is usually based on human movement. It is expressionistic, deliberate, and uses a focus on gravity. The class will combine the elements of modern dance, including the basic technique, fall and recovery, patterns, timing, focus, use of gravity, expressionism, and improvisation, as well as elements of post-modern and contemporary dance.
